Ive started tearing down my cre tuned jpx.21 tonight.

Delayed by a stripped head bolt which I had to drill out.

Piston and sleeve are in good condition with plenty of pinch, the bottom end is in a bad way

I'm not surprised it wouldn't run right, front bearing had lost its seal and was leaking and the rear bearing is completely seized mainly due to rust

The crank isn't too pretty either, hence the need for a Dremel

Remember fellow nitro nuts, our fuel is hydroscopic, so attracts water

Always empty your tank and run your engine dry when you finish, followed by a few drops of light oil in the plug hole and turn it over on your starter box

This will help your engine stay rust free, perform better and last longer!

I might not clean the outside but i always try to put the afterrun oil in...

Is this the engine you are using every week or a stored engine

No it's one of the engines that came with the truggy, going by the general wear on the sleeve and piston, it doesn't look like its been used much
